Dear Minister,

I have made contact with Paengaroa School, a primary school in the Bay of Plenty http://www.paengaroa.school.nz/ and I pointed out to the principal that I own the (legal intellectual property) rights to the web browsers he is using in his school and invited him to consider it.

This is not my first letter to the government. It has informed me that this is a legal matter and invited me to consult a lawyer.

It is my intention to do so at my earliest opportunity.

It is also an education matter as the government has to be informed by me in the same way that I inform, or prove to the court the veracity of my claim, and I am 100% confident that I can do so.

The web browser is owned by Sun, and I own Sun. It is that simple. I have a document that has been validated by fluent Chinese speaking Mandarin students who are students of Chinese history, of no lesser qualification of Dr Manyang IP of the Chinese dept at Auckland University, where I attended in 1985. I'm not sure whether Dr Ip is still at the university, or has retired. Sun is a Chinese company and an international one. It is recognised by India by treaty. It is therefore accepted as so under international law. New Zealand or the United States have no authority to say this trade mark no longer exists.

While working for Sun, I wrote the timing system, in SUN JavaScript. SUN has since been taken over by Oracle, but has not paid me for either, and I will not sell. Without a JavaScript capable web browser, connection to the internet is not possible.

For this software, (the timing system) I charge £100 per copy including tax.

The government therefore owes me £100 for every internet connection in our schools according to the licence agreement.

It would be good if you could tell me how many computers the schools have, and how many of them have a web browser (and mouse) installed. It is quite within my capability to uninstall my software for non-payment but I do not wish to do this. There is nothing stopping anyone paying me for their software, making it legal.

Since this is shareware, it expires and is renewed evry 30 days as an incentive to trial it free for 30 days, and a disincentive to keep using it and not uninstall it meanwhile saying to me that it is not worth paying for.

Those are the main points of my argument.

Please consider my request and contact me as soon as possible please because I need the income, as it is my sole source of income at present.

My online JavaScript tutorial is at http://www.javascriptkit.com  FAQ

Yours sincerely,

Malcolm James Lorenzo Baker
