Unfortunately, for those of us who feel this way, prostitution is a part of the economy and must be addressed, if for no other reason than it is commonly associated with crime, especially illegal drugs. Here is a story.
After the war, (World War II), my father told me that while they were based in the middle east, (Egypt, Bengazi), they had some time off and the men went into town. He was surprised that some of the men chose to make a bee line for a brothel. He could probably imagine men lined up and waiting to use the services of a limited number of women.
As someone who, I can confidently say, never even obliged himself in the unimaginable practice of masterbation, (can you imagine a row of men sleeping in cots in a tent all turning over after lights out and having a quick pull to releive the tensions of the day- we used to have jokes about that sort of thing amongst the third formers at boarding school).
Somewhere in the back of my mind I can imagine a confused scenario where men went to meet their wives and engaged in a brief period of love making, in the half time between the two halves of the game if you will, and came away, but the reality was these med did not recognise these women as marriagable material, so for some it was probably their first experience of sex, and one they did not intend to miss.
Before the war Dad's Uncle Bill (Sandilands) told him, (he had fought in World War I) that he had not had a girl before the war, but that one day he would "fall", so a skeptical Tim kept his faith. After the war he did meet Mary, and sure enough, a lasting relationship developed.

She may allow you to massage her, so it it is just the touch of a woman's (or man's skin you want, you may be lucky, and you may get a conversation, but don't expect to make a friend, because the chances are she is already married to a pimp.
You may be with a couple of friend, and expect to pay for, and get, the opportunity to all have sex with her one after the other if you really need a bonding exercise, but you will not all be allowed in the room at the same time. In teh old days you used to have to make the offer, but now prostitution is legal. You will already have paid when you entered the building, and they will have your credit card details. if you are married, don't expect this transaction to remain a secret. Women gossip, even if they don't talk openly.
The price. Women get only minimum wages. That is $13.00 per hour before tax, so you will be lucky to get a full hour. If you do, feel lucky, and grateful.
Now here is my deal. The state, meaning my Royal Navy owns the brothels. The price, whatever it is, and it may vary between brothels, say $120, will all go to the girl. In addition she will get a matching, (equal payment from me. If she has another customer on the same day, there will be a proportionate reduction in her fee, so in effect she will be performing an act of charity. Eventuall such dedicated workers will be weeded out of the industry. High class hookers, call girls, and paid mistresses are another category, we are not talking about or are interested in them for the moment. We are speaking about girls on the street, who may be underage, who will get in your car and taking extreme risks with their lives, give you a blow job for $5 or $10. This is the entry level. Jail bait is a big attraction for some men, who frankly are a menace to society. Paedophilia is not a joke, it is a crime, but that is a different issue.

So now the brother, or massage parlour worker, will get her $220, and may work five days in a row for no penalty. If she has three customers a day, she may lose $20 for each additional one, earning only $180 per day.
A woman who is forced to sleep with her boss to get a job whether or not she is married, whether or not she is a person of high or low moral character, is being raped.
He may say, "You didn't have to do that to get the job, I would have employed you anyway". Bullshit. There was no doubt about it. He may say, "I'm going to do this, what are you going to do about it?" Even a threat to rape, by an employee will be treated as cause for instant (at the end of the day) dismissal, with no future prospects of employment by the organisation. A woman or man who has been employed under conditions of duress has the right to keep her job, or the right to find a similar job with similar pay. The man will be prosecuted.
So that brings the next step. The woman will be found similar employment for similar wages, and she will be happy in a job, even if it is only obtaining an education, because it suits her skills, and pays all her bills. (more)
