 monopoly captions

From User_talk:Lupin#Monopoly captions

Hi, Lupin, I hope you don't mind I just put the full-sentence Monopoly (game) caption back with explanation on the edit summary. I was trying to provide some context to people who have never seen the game so they'd know more than "in progress," plus trying to comply with guidelines at Wikipedia:Captions, the first of which is that captions should consist of complete sentences. Please edit the caption as you see fit to help it follow the guidelines. Also, please look over the guidelines, and if they need to be revised, please help. Also see Wikipedia_talk:Captions - there are several discussions on particular examples. -- ke4roh 20:27, Sep 1, 2004 (UTC)

This is actually me. I've put on so much weight in Australia, despite my tragic loss, that I'm starting to lokk a bit like an elephant.

Maria Sharapova

Well! I made it to Moscow folks and I have realizd something. No clothing, no jacket, no cashmere, shuba (look it up) Ok its a russian fur coat, will save you from this cold here.

I've simply given up. Trying to add more layers, either (hard to read my own notes from the trip over. My handwriting is worse than a doctor!!

On a warmer note, here I am. In the Olympic Stadium!! And here I am in shorts, a tee shirt, and just a pair of shoes and socks.

On another warmer note, here I am meeting another fine young woman. She's 14. Can you believe it? Shes a Russian Junior, which is very good for 14. We almost have the same height. I said to her, its a good thing you didn't pick basketball, which you could have, or you may have found yourself spending you whole proessional career sitting on your bench. She has the same collection, Nike, that all the fashionable girls are getting into. Thats it, oh her name is Veronika with a K, that could have been the name of a shipor a storm it's so beautiful, Kudermetova. See ya.

Have fun, we are!

Here we all are in Moscow, literally jumping for joy. Sorry the film didn't come out to good so you can't see our faces, but it doesn't matter. There is a bit of a radiation haze today, a remnant of Chernoble, and it appers to have gotten into the film, but we're working on the problem and will have it resolved shortly.

Up here it so cold some of the mens has started dressing up as women, in womens clothing and working out inside because it is too cold to work outside. Either that or there is a shortage of womans for the mens and they have to share the work. Some people say Russian women look like men and as as strong as men, but those women work on the docks and mostly it is easy to tell who is a women and who is a man without actually conducting a sex test.

Here is the Russian wine drinking team. All they drink is white wine made made from red grapes, the way it used to be made before white grapes were discovered.

What's going on here. The Chinese team sharing a private joke. Looking casual in their new Russian uniforms. Looks as though they are waiting for someone. Obviously someone bring something, like the keys to their hotel rooms, but they are managing to look typically busy and businesslike as the lol about.

When we arrived at our hotel we discovered, after we all ordered a screwdriver that, lol, no peanuts, only hazels, but no nutcrackers. What to do? Quickly thinking, one of the girls suggested that I put them between my knees as I'm notorious for crushing nuts that way, but then somebody else said, no, we can just put them on the ice crusher, so all good.

So happy. We won! Well, I'm like a one year old, so innocent. I was under the weather today (that is code for in the locker rooms with Sasha) so had to watch most of the matches in the locker room. Here is a pictre of my bottom for you all. And here is another one showing a bit more. The crowd during my match yesterday were so special. Before I leave, here is an image Sasha and I took, well, he took it, I'm useless with gadgets, at the Red Square. How beautiful is this city. Which one do you like the most? There were literally thousands and thousands of pictures taken. Those of you who have never been here should really come.

I'm not cut out to be a ballerina, even though I try.

Edited version on my facebook.

On Wednesday. I had my first experience at the Bolshoi Theatre, and we watched, ballet. It was called Anyata

My mother used to take me to the ballet when I was young,  what a performance. I must have looked like a young Lolita. Now it is much better. I don't know, maybe you do, if you know what I mean.

The skill level, Oh my God, I didn't know where to look first, but I worked it out. fantastic levels of skill. If you have seen "The Night Porter", when they are performing to the Nazi's, excuse me, but it looked a bit half hearted.

It is amazing how the prima ballerina's eyes semm to follow you around the theater. I tried changing sets in the two performances I was, one from the left, and one again in the centre, and always thy seemed to be focused right on you. It is like one of those Degaga paintings.

They make their work look so effortless when it must be one of the toughest things to do with your body, to say nothing of the mental effort.
