 Revelation 5

The Scroll and the Lamb

I saw a scroll in the right hand of the one who sits on the throne; it was covered with writing on both sides and was sealed with seven seals.2 And I saw a mighty angel, who announced in a loud voice, "Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?" 3 But there was no one in heaven or on earth or in the world below who could open the scroll and look inside it...

There is no doubt that Jesus existed, and was reserrected from the dead. God has never died, and lives now.

9 They sang a new song:

"You are worthy to take the scroll and to break open the seals. For you were killed, and by your your sacrificial death you bought for God people from every tribe, language and race. 10 You have made them a kingdom of priests to serve our God, and they shall rule on earth."

Revelation 6

 Revelation 6

The Seals.

Then I saw the Lamb break open the first of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice that sounded like thunder, "Come!" 2 I looked, and there was a white horse. Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown. He rode out as a conqueror to conquer.

This isn't exactly clear. White horses are known as representing trustworthiness and truth. There could be a connection to Pegasus, the legendary flying horse and symbol of Mobil Oil, but there is no evidence Pegasis was white, or existed.

My personal interpretation of it is that there was a classic charriot race in which Ben Hur, (Short for Ben Hur Judah), bet at odds of 1000 to one that he could win with a team of white Arabian horses, even though until them black arabians were considered stronger. He won,  but calculated on having to run over another chariot, if he was blocked in as he expected to be. He calculated he would be thrown eight feet into the air by the impact, and would have to land on his midrif as his hand were full with teh reins, but crossed the line being dragged by his team, his chariot having been demolished.

White horses (which are rarer than other colours of horse) have a special significance in the mythologies of cultures around the world. They are often associated with the sun chariot,[1] with warrior-heroes, with fertility (in both mare and stallion manifestations), or with an end-of-time saviour, but other interpretations exist as well.

There was a case not long ago, 12th August 2000.

On 12 August 2000, the Russian Oscar II class submarine Kursk sank in the Barents Sea after an explosion. The investigation showed that a leak of hydrogen peroxide in a torpedo led to explosion of its fuel, causing the submarine to hit the bottom which in turn triggered the detonation of further torpedo warheads about two minutes later. This second explosion was equivalent to about 2-3 tonnes of TNT,[1] or about 5-7 torpedo warheads, and measured 4.2 on the Richter scale.  large enough to register on seismographs across Northern Europe.[2][3]

"It's dark here to write, but I'll try by feel. It seems like there are no chances, 10-20%. Let's hope that at least someone will read this. Here's the list of personnel from the other sections, who are now in the ninth and will attempt to get out. Regards to everybody, no need to be desperate. Kolesnikov."

Captain-lieutenant Dmitri Kolesniko

Despite a rescue attempt by British and Norwegian teams, which was severely delayed due to the Russians refusing them access, all 118 sailors and officers aboard Kursk died. The next year, a Dutch team recovered the wreckage and all of the bodies, which were buried in Russia.[1]

There was a strong rumour in Russia, that all the sailors survived, with the exception of seven US navy seals whose bodies were never recovered by the Americans. They had attempted to enter the submarine but were killed. Nothing has ever been confirmed by the Americans, who allegedly caused the explosion with a torpedo. The wives and families of these men have never spoken out, although somebody must have missed them.

5 Then the Lamb broke open the third seal; and I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" I looked and there was black horse. Its rider held a pair of scales in his hand.6 I heard what sounded like a voice coming from the four living creatures, which said, "A quart of wheat for a day's wages, and three quarts of barley for a day's wages. But do not damage the olive trees and the vinyards!"

7Then the Lamb broke open the fourth seal; and I heard the fourth living creature say, "Come!" 8 And I looked and there was a pale-coloured horse. Its rider was named Death, and Hades followed close behind. They were given authority over one fourth of the earth, to kill by means of war, famine, disease, and wild animals.

A chestnut horse.

3 Then the Lamb broke open the second seal and I heard a second living creature say  "Come!" 4 Another horse came out, a red one. Its rider was given power to bring war on earth, so that men should kill each other. He was given a large sword.

This seems fairly straight forward. Possibly the colour red represents communism, and the Soviet Union, and refers to Stalin and post war communism. Of course we know now that the correct name for a red horse is chestnut.

There is one other thing I recall about the chestnut horse. naturally I have spent time as a horse, both mare and stallion, and in teh past not all horses were treated well, from beatings, to heavy pressure on their mouths by strong men on beer wagons. They are willing animals, with spirit, and an independent streak, and it wasn't until oats, and nose bags that some people realized a horse is willing but cannot work if you do not feed it. Once I remember being whipped and beaten savagely. You know how an open wound bleeds and the blood congeals. My whole body was covered with cuts, but I did not forget it and nobody who has seen a horses' 'chestnuts' (not to be confused with horse chestnuts), can forget it either.

The black horse is no mystery. A day's wages used to be a quart of wheat, or one penny. Now it is $108.00. Is three quarts of barley equal to one $108.00 these days, or do we demand more than food when we work? A quarter of our wages goes on rent.

During the war, there were no wages. My father sent his home so his mother would have some money. Often there was no food. They managed to secure some rice. They had cigarettes sometimes. It was hot in the desert.

The price of a web browser is now  £200 (soon to be £100 next year, last month November it was £500) which represents about four day's wages if you are me, but maybe there will be different prices reflecting actual wages the year after next.

My personal take on this one, because I own, not a pair of scales, but one dish from a chinese government balance scale, which is made from a silver coin, and has the word heroin on it.

If we look for one international trade mark with a horse on it we see Lloyd's Bank, and the National Bank, now owned by ANZ bank. Not long ago I was banned from all the National Banks in this country. They may have been a little hasty, but have offered me no compensation, even for the use of my EFT-POS (ATM) machine software. A financial crisis is a man made disaster, just as the last depression led to WW II.

Its rider was named Death, and Hades followed close behind. They were given authority over one fourth of the earth, to kill by means of war, famine, disease, and wild animals.
